	this is an image for st. louis magazine for a short story on a girl who goes to learn to drive a boat, but in the end cant muster up the courage. byron		here are a few pages from my sketchbook. i have been focusing on architectural studies these days. genevieve		i shot these lawyers at bennett jones for american lawyer magazine. it's always a challenge to make corporate subjects look interesting. daniel

	here are some funny ideas for a typface based around the idea of wounds. genevieve		a sketch i did that seems to work well in summing up my last weeks of holidays. byron		i was commissioned to shoot albertan eco-leaders for unlimited magazine's green issue. will have more to share in the coming updates. daniel

	what a pleasure that all three of us got to be a part of the work/ life book featuring a range of canadian illustrators and photographers. we'd like to thank janine at uppercase gallery for doing an amazing job putting this book and show together. you can see a preview of the book here here is my addition to the work life book , the working title is "to catch a bee". byron		i ended up doing a silkscreen edition of fifty for the work/life show. the three colour separation makes it different from the image that appears in the accompanying book. genevieve		here is my contribution to the book, it's from a personal project/promo. it was a lot of fun and a good challenge to shoot as i've been working on some different lighting setups and retouching techniques. daniel

	this is a piece i painted some time ago. genevieve helped give it the title "barbicide" and that stuck quite nicely. byron		i just finished up shooting a story on butchers for swerve magazine. i couldn't resist trying to make them look like serial killers. daniel		some characters i've been working on this week for a possible storyish kind of personal project. and yes, i'll probably tell everyone i'm making prints of them then never will. genevieve

	a personal drawing that i hope to make into a print sometime, though im lazy and never will. forgot to submit a write-up so byron took over genevieve		this is a page from my sketchbook. a mood study for a portrait for the band portishead I am currently working on. 	some recent drawings that were done for a project based on a 'science kit' concept. genevieve		this photo is from my random street wanderings while scouting locations to shoot. this one stuck for some reason. daniel		painted a munny toy for a local artshow held at the circa showroom in calgary. im told it is going to be seen elsewhere too...but i dont know all the details. byron

	this is an outtake from a recent shoot for a self-promo. I will post the final shots on my website soon, so check it out. daniel		whipped up a teaser for my next art show with pen-wizard josh holinaty. the show will be at the 809 gallery in kensington on august 24th and 25th. byron		a sort of quick self-portrait in gouache with a big slice of introspection and a side of self-loathing....but i'm feeling much better now. genevieve

	this photograph is from a little hole in the wall diner called helen's on main street in vancouver. to be honest, the breakfast wasn't great, but it sure was affordable. daniel		this piece is a rough for a potential comic book that may or may not see the light of day. either way, it fits the bill for the grand opening of henceforth & evermore. more to come kids. byron
